On losing weight and metabolism
How much can a genetically inherited "bad" metabolism affect weight loss?

Quite a bit mate, I suffer with this, look at a mars bar and put on weight, but 9/10 times it's all about discipline if you eat right exercise and get the right amount of sleep, it'll come off will just take a little bit longer than most bud.
If not see a doctor.

I keep hearing moaning comments from a friend, who claims she has an unusual metabolism making it very difficult or her to loose weight.
I have always read and been told by personal trainers and nutritionists thatin order to loose weight, you need to burn more calories than you eat.
It is in other words extremely simple. To be fully motivated an dedicated to a diet and tough exercise, when you aren't comfortable with your body, must be tough.
However, I doubt that metabolism can play such a big role.
Please be kind to share your insight and correct me if I am wrong.

OK man, so is it due to a hormonal inbalance of some sort? Is that something you can treat with a pharmaceutical?
How have you dealt with this?

Personnaly, I think metabolism is crucial, u can help your metabolism by eating 6-8 times a day (small portions) eat as soon as you wake up, drink plenty of water, avoid everything that slows down the metabolism like alcool and train, train, train, after a while you will notice that you can eat pizza once a week and your body will burn extra cals, dont abuse of it and keep your eating and trainning routine!

Hormonal imbalance is surely one of the reasons for the low metabolism, apart form this age, body surface area, body fat level, genetic factor, diet imbalance, muscle tissue, nervous disorders, dieting or fasting, stress and drugs are the other reasons.
There are plenty of treatments for this which ranges from the ones that you can have it at the home to the medicines prescribed by a doctor. It is always better to consult a doctor for this. The common treatments for this would include following a strict regime of the exercise, drinking lots of water, and eating meals at a regular interval. Hope that this helps you.

Daily you can eat dailylow-fat milk-dairy products in eating through that products you can easily lose your weight. You can eat fresh fruits and green vegetables. If you need to lose weight, choose a well balanced diet food such as Weight Watchers, rather than a fad diet. Earlt in the morning Daily you can perform good exercises.Mostly eat fruits and vegetables that are currently available in-season.

It's said that people are predisposed to fall within a certain metabolic range. Of course, metabolism can be raised or lowered through diet and exercise.
However, my family all seem to be very fit and athletic, yet I have to diet just to maintain my weight. My 50-something-year-old father recently made it into the army reserve under the fitness classification required for 20-year-olds. He's weighed the same for the past 15 years. Very frustrating. I think the most I've ever lost at a time from concientious diet and exercise is 5 lbs in a month.
