Serious Mass by "ON" mass gainer

Hey everyone, recently i decided to purchase serious mass by ON to put on some size as i am 6' 1" and have been stuck at 143-145lbs for about a month. I took half servings once a day of serious mass for about a week and weighed in at 150lbs and i was lifting much heavier. But then i noticed i became kinda sick to where i became really weak the next week and wanted to throw up everytime i drank serious mass. I really like the product and it seemed to be working. Is there any tips you can give me to stay healthy while drinking a mass gainer, what am i doing wrong? i was fine the first week. Should i be drinking more water? please let me know, i want to finish this product.

its probably your body reacting to the new calorie influx you're giving it. Also too much of certain vitamins can also make you sick. So if your taking "Serious mass", while also taking other supplements you may be overdoing it with the vitamin %'s.... look at the tolerable upper limit for how much of a certain vitamin you can have and see if you are over doing it.

If all else fails, I would suggest to maybe stop taking it for a little while then gradually work it back into your regimine if/when you start feeling better. If you start to get sick again look for a different mass gainer...

hope that helps

Personally I think you should use WHEY weight gainers. I had a cousin that was 6ft and use it to get him to 185lb and dont remember him ever getting sick from it. I believe his weight used to be like 160 but he could eat alot and not gain a single pound.

IMHO 'gainer' supplements have their place... its still a 'supplement', not a end-all-be-all solution.

Everyone wants the 'one step, silver-bullet' solution for gaining mass/muscle... but there just aint one.

Im not a trainer/doctor BUT I would say, stick to the basics first ie. increase your caloric intake with a balance of good lean meats, making sure to balance it with lots of good dark green veggies, fruit + fiber (gonna need fiber to move all this stuff through your system).
(people always make the mistake of just increasing their protein... but you gotta do it all so that its all in balance).

So when u eat a meal, increase the proteins ie. add another hunk of chicken breast AND up the greens ie. grab 2 handfuls of baby spinach + 1/2 cup of beans.
Its REALLY easy&cheap to buy spinach by the bulk batch and canned black/kidney beans are cheap.
Wash & salad-spin in batches, store in the fridge.
Right before you make your meal, reach into the fridge and grab 2 handfuls... open a can-o-bean, rinse, nuke...
Blamo, fast easy and most importantly... balanced.

A shake supplement makes sense when you cant get the real stuff... ie. right after a workout but IMHO its NOT a replacement... you gotta add real 'substance' to your input to put real substance on your frame.

I forgot to include that i do eat very healthy. My dad is a chef so there is always really good food around. I started taking the shake again but this time i'm gonna drink half, wait thirty minutes and drink the other half so that i can digest it better. Thanks for the answers everyone. I will see how this works out again.
