Personal Bests

Im creating this thread for everyone to post their personal bests in the following:
  • Most consecutive pull ups
  • Most consecutive push ups
  • Time it takes you to do 100 push ups
  • Best mile time
  • Max Squat
  • and why not Max Bench even though i find it quite irrelevant in my training.

Also list your height and weight and if youre currently fighting

This thread is to help me keep motivated and try to beat peoples personal bests and continue training hard to get my strength conditioning and cardio at elite levels for when i continue my pro career after i graduate college.

My list:
Pull ups: 27
Push ups: 180
100 push ups: 1:18
Mile: 5 minutes 12 seconds
Max Squat: 405
Max bench: 285

Im a 1-0 155 lb fighter with a wrestling background. At 5'9" I walk around between 175-180 lbs

Any videos of you doing 27 pull ups or 180 pushups? Very impressive if it's true and done with proper form

I can't say I am as potent in the PR realm but here's my stats:

12 pull-ups
114-pushups
not sure on timing for the pushups
5:20-30 for the mile
2 squats @ 345

Dont wanna be pedantic but what kind of push-ups / pull-ups are we talking here? Some people mistake chin-ups with pull-ups, and alot of people dont do straight arm pull-ups (where you lock your arms out straight after each one)

Also the positioning of your hands makes a huge difference in how difficult they can be.

What worked for me when I first couldn't do 100 consecutive was to do 100 push ups in the fastest amount of time possible. Once you have that time set, keep trying to beat that time every other day until you feel comfortable enough to do 100 without stopping.

Normal shoulder width apart and all the way down push ups. With the pull ups, all the way up and all the way until your elbows lock. I keep my hands shoulder width apart although the wide grip works the lats better. And yes pull ups not chin ups. Palms facing away not towards you.
