Brand new. Needing some direction.

I'm Joe. I'm in the Navy and I'm overweight. I ran my first triathlon a couple of months ago and having that focus helped me lose my first 35/40 lbs. I still have about 75 lbs to go and I like the training I've seen for MMA. I think it would be cool to start fighting once I reach my goal weight but for now I just want to focus on the weightloss. I'm home on leave for another 3 weeks and I'd like to focus hard while I'm here. After that I'm going to Japan for 2 years and will have a lot less control of my nutrition once I get to my ship so I would like to get as much of a jump start as I can. I can fit in 2 or 3 workouts a day for now I just need some direction. Can anybody give me some advice on both nutrition as it relates to MMA training and the physical training schedule itself? Like I said, I have plenty of time in the day for now and my physical level is at least moderate. I've done some pretty intense stuff in my training but I lack consistancy since my triathlon. Thanks for all the help.

Take a look here, this should be able to give you a decent workout-regimen.

I cannot tell you it will be as hardcore and powerful as some of the stuff you'll read on these forums but you'll at least cut weight.

Throughout life there are bumps along the way some may be painful...others not...who gives a damn in the end you'll still die

Start with P90X. After 90 days you should be good to go.
