Sounds like a bit of an overkill to me.
Anyway, I'm not going to bash Atkins if you're a couch potato, but if you do some form of physical exercise on a regular basis, you need more carbs than whatever you get from those fruits. And if you're underweight you don't even have to worry that much about eating too much carbs. Just make sure they're whole-grain if you're looking for a healthy diet.
