Moivation

Hey everyone.
At the min I am really struggling for motivation to get up and go training. I have tried a lot of things. I enjoy the sport and like training once Im there but the motivation to go in the first place is lacking.

So what do you guys do to get motivated?

Its almost as if I like to be tapped out! lol

Regardless of what my signature picture is, Jon Jones is my motivation right now. I will be training extra hard because of him I won't lie. He has been fighting for 3 years and is now the UFC LHW champion, that is HUGE motivation for me.

On other days my motivation is not getting my ass kicked. I think to myself "Are you really going to slow down? Are you really feeling tired? What if he isn't? What if hes more prepared? Hes going to kick your ass"

Right now my main motivation is the fact that I could have a potential competition in July.



Throughout life there are bumps along the way some may be painful...others not...who gives a damn in the end you'll still die

I'm actually in the same boat now. Keep telling myself I'll start fresh on Monday. Well Monday is here again and I'm in no rush to get cracking at my usual training schedule

Sometimes it is hard Working,school and then having motivation and the energy to train thats why people who can do it full time are blessed.

The greatest motivation is to put yourself on "death ground" where failure is not an option. Sign up for something and commit. When retreat is not an option you will be motivated and active greater things that you would expect.

When you start to think about not working out visualize opponent getting stronger than you, beating you, and leaving you flat on your back in disgrace. Since you are committed already and paid the entry fee and your friends are expecting you to show up your only option is to push forward and you can't turn back.

Me for example I am going to sign up for and event called tough mudder ther is no retreat forme because I will have wasted my money if I don't attempt it. If I lose motivation I think of the possibility of failing, not completing the course and the regret that will follow. I cant let that hapen and my only acceptable option is completing the course.
