When is the best time for whey protein?
 
If you workout every day.
What is the best time for it? Before or after working out or in the morning?

I take it 2-3 tiimes a day.

usually just 2 times. It is best to take immedietly after your work out.

If I work out in the morning I have it straight after, then a 2nd one before i go to bed (it speeds up metabalism while you sleep).

If I work out in the evening, I'll Have one 1st thing in the morning and one straight after my work out.

In my iPhone so I can't find it but the time you take it is irrelevant. As ling as you take enough of it daily.

For me i take it:

before a workout
after a workout
and for breakfast.

If I have to pick 1 specific time to take whey protein its definitely right after a workout.

Firstly i'd advise against working out everyday, your body needs time to rest and repair itself. If you really feel you have to work out everyday, make sure you dont excercise the same muscle groups two days running.

As for whey protein, your body has about a 2 hour window after your workout where calories, especially protein, are targetted towards the excercised muscles. However, you also have to consider that it takes your body about an hour and a half to 3 hours to actually digest and get the nutrition from anything consumed. I'd advise sipping on a protein shake and an energy drink throughout your workout, and then finish your protein shake immediately after your workout (the energy drink will help replenish your glycogen stores and allow your body to absorb more protein). Try to include about 100g of oats in your shake too, as the carbs help your body to process the protein.

I agree, have you looked at the hemp seed stuff? It looks good I might try it.

In my humble opinion there are 3 key times in which whey is best utilized. 1 right upon waking, 1 30-45 mins pre workout, and the last following your workout. Remember its a supplement, and you should be getting the bulk of your nutrients from food sources.
