Like others have said, wear some head gear or wrap it in practice. I've had my ear drained when wrestling in HS/College, it hurts like hell after prolonged aggravation. Let a medical physician do it and tend to it immediately. Once left for too long, the liquid in the ear will harden

The problem with that is that you have to get them drained right away. Once they harden the only way to get rid of it would be surgery.
