Strecthing

How can I increase my flexibility for grappling? I wanna be able to pull things like rubber guard off. Or sit in butterfly position with both knees on the mat like Eddie Bravo does in this vid

I'm starting to get into yoga and I was just wondering what is the best way to incorporate it into my usual workout routine...is it best to do yoga before or after my workout, or perhaps both?
