Whats up guys my names Matt I'm 14 a freshmen in high school and really want to make a change in my life. I'm 5'9"-5'10"(i don't remember) and weigh 230lb and i hate it. i look at my self and think this is not me. I want to lose weight for me so i can feel good about getting up in the morning and not worry about going to school and possibly getting made fun of for being over weight and of course i would have some more confidence with the girls. I have always loved MMA and UFC so i though to my self that would be a great way to lose weight. but the biggest problem for me is i have no idea what to eat or what is right to eat i have a terrible diet that is probably to blame for my weight. i have no idea how many calories to eat or how I'm suppose to stay away from all the fatty foods. i'm going to start this in home exercise program to try and get my self in to shape and hopefully lose at least 30-40 pounds by Christmas or a bit after. well if any one is willing to help me out i will so great full thanks for reading all of this :)

If you looking strictly what you should eat for you diet you can just google it, look on these forums or look on youtube and there is plenty of information.

What you want to eat though is lots of fruits and veggies, clean calories/protein so good meats like chicken, lean red meat, lean ground turkey, and some fish.

You also want to stay away from white bread and go towards whole grain, wheat, etc.

A sample diet of mine is like

Breakfast: Banana and a couple eggs or a bowl of oatmeal.
Snack: A cup of nuts
Lunch: Something clean like a turkey or chicken sandwhich with potatoes and some veggies
Snack: An apple and protein shake after training
Dinner: Chicken breast and veggies
Snack: Before bed something carb heavy so my body feeds off that while I sleep since I'm a super hardgainer so like whote grain pasta.

Depending on the day I will probably throw in another meal maybe two since I'm trying to gain weight and its very hard for me to gain.

Hope this helps some and gives you a place to start. But you can google clean diets, mma diet, bodybuilding/fat burn diet, and you can also get some supplements that will help you cut fat.

Hey

nateberry1 plan is perfect, but you can add to the diet little bit of workout.
Start slowly got to the park,i recomend you early in the morning, there arent many people, you will feel more comfortable, and start jogging, run one circle, walk one circle to rest
start with 5 x 5 and every few days add a circle
Cardio is important for losing fat, gaining some muscle, what more important you will feel good, less stress, more happy, more focused on things, more self-confidence,better blood flow and it will be much healthier.
So grab your ipod fill it with songs you like and star running :)
in few months you can take in consideration Bar workourts or the gym :)
p.s
the run/walk technique about it a friend of mine who was 120 kg's started it 6 months ago and has great results
