Those are some great comments from Barnett, I like the ones about Dana swearing cause I also believe the same thing.

Barnett is right about the Soboral firing. It is overblown, people do things when provoked. And it happened to Soboral.

Overall in the interview, Josh said a lot of smart things.

couture got an immediate title shot because there was nobody else for Tim to fight. The original fight was offered to Brandon Vera but Vera's manager declined the offer without consulting with brandon. So dana just offered it to couture.

If barnett didn't have his thumb up his ass, maybe he'd know about this.

But seriously, Barnett is just jealous of all these other pride fighters heading to UFC and making some cash. He wants to be a part of it, dana wont sign him and he doesn't know why. and that just pisses him the fck off.

i don't think talking shlt to dana will make this situation any better for him though.

It's not like Barnett is revealing the matrix or some shit to us. Couture draws, and Vera, CroCop and Gonzaga wouldn't take the fight at the time. Couture was looked at as a showcase fight for Tim or a great story and serious money maker for 1-3 more fights.
