Round 1 - Dan Miragliotta draws reefing duties for the night's fourth bout, and we're under way with another Jersey fighter in Catone. Catone moves in first, but there's not much there. A couple leg kicks lead to a little flurry, though nothing major is done by either fighter. Catone has a big cheering section in the house, all dressed in red shirts. Outside leg kick from Camozzi. Catone looks like he's loading up a right hand, but he instead shoots. No takedown there, but he lands a knee on the break. Nice left from Camozzi is immediately answered with one from Catone. Camozzi then gets a clean punch off that he takes advantage of with a flying knee attempt. He ties Catone up on the fence and looks for a trip. But Catone breaks off and they're back to the middle trading leg kicks. Catone lands a nice right that has Camozzi trying to shake it off. Catone then looks for another takedown that he bails out of and fires off a kick instead. Good three-punch combo from Catone is there, and he goes for a takedown that he has to work for, but eventually gets. Camozzi defends from his back and looks for short elbows from the guard as Catone tries to come over the top with some bigger shots. It's a 10-9 first round for Catone on the MMAjunkie.com unofficial card.
Round 2 - Good shots from both fighters early on, and as Catone comes in to look for more Camozzi shrugs him off and keeps the center of the cage. Good left hook from Catone. Camozzi tries to come over the top, but Catone ducks under and clinches Camozzi up along the fence. Camozzi tries to look for knees and circle out, but has to dodge a big Catone uppercut on the break. They tie up again and it's Camozzi looking for knees. Catone again shoots, and he fights hard for another takedown. He gets it and will look to pass with a minute left in the round. It's Camozzi, though, landing a couple nice elbows from the bottom. Catone postures up and tries to drop some fists. He gets a few off, and although he's bloodied a little bit MMAjunkie.com will give him a 10-9 second.
Round 3 - Camozzi lands a few nice punches early, then a knee. He's got Catone looking hurt and he ties him up on the fence and lands a nice knee to the body and a few to the things. Then up high. Catone is a bloody mess as they break. He shoots for a takedown, but Camozzi stuffs it this time. Camozzi looks to move in for the kill and stalks down the bloody Catone. He's talking to him now and chasing after him. But Catone wants to fire back. Catone again shoots, but Camozzi defends and lands another knee on the break. The cut is bad enough that Miragliotta is going to ask it to be checked by the doctor. He wipes the lewd away. Catone tells Miragliotta he's fine. But MIragliotta waves it off. It's going to be a TKO win by doc stoppage for Camozzi, and the pro-Catone crowd is unhappy. Chris Camozzi def. Nick Catone via TKO (doctor stoppage) - Round 3, 1:51
