Round 1 - Referee Kristian Hacklou in the cage for the evening's first main-card contest. Corassani with an early low kick and a lot of lateral movement. Peralta in the center. Peralta with a low kick, but Corassani counters with a right over the top. Corassani very busy on the feet early. Peralta yet to over-commit, as he stalks from the center. They exchange briefly, and Peralta pushes into a clinch. Nothing there, so they break apart. Peralta catches a kick and counters with a knee to the body. Peralta lands a left hand, but he's haing trouble with sustained attacks. Corassani finding a home for his right hand, and Peralta's cheek is reddened. Corassani ducks in on a takedown. Peralta defends against the cage. Peralta gets underhooks and tries to counter with his own takedown. It doesn't come, and the round ends there. MMAjunkie.com scores the first for Corassani, `10-9.
Round 2 - Corassani catches an early kick and counters again. Peralta pulls away and gets busier with his kicks to the leg. Corassani still very active, but Peralta is opening up a bit more. Peralta drives in for a takedown. Not there. Corassani chopping at the legs. Peralta trying to land big overhand punches, but he's just missing. He does land a few straights, including a left, but appears OK. They exchange again, and a Peralta left dazes Corassani. Peralta rushes to capitalize, and Corassani somehow gets back to his feet. Peralta lands a knee, but he seems to be recovering well. Corassani jockeying in the clinch and briefly trips Peralta to a knee. They break, and Corassani lands a huge right hand. They reset n the center, and both look a little worn down from the grind. Peralta kicks the leg to close. Late work from Corassani made it close, but MMAjunkie.com likes Peralta, 10-9.
Round 3 - Peralta pushes forward to open. Both fighters fire heavy punches. Corassani chopping at the leg. Peralta answers. Big right hands traded. Corassani slips a punch and wraps the body and immediately scores a takedown. On his back, Peralta spins for a kimura. He can't pull the arm free, ado he lets it go in favor of working to his feet. He does, but he can't get Corassani's grip broken, and the Swede again takes the fight to the floor. Peralta spins to his knees and stands, but Corassani is tight to the body. Two minutes left. Peralta spins off and delivers two knees to the body. Corassani reverses and pushes in from the outside. Peralta turns again. Corassani is cut, and blood is rushing down his face. Peralta slips as the jockey for position, but Corassani scrambles to the top, were he finishes the round. MMAjunkie.com sees the final round for Corassani, 10-9, and awards him the fight 29-28.
