Round 1 - Adam Cheadle in charge for Krause's UFC debut. Stout kicks inside early. They kick, and then tie up. Big height and reach advantage for Krause, who had a couple WEC fights back in the day before a nice run outside Zuffa got him a short-notice call back for tonight. They break around a minute in and go back to the middle. Teep from Krause, and Stout tries to answer with a high kick. Krause jabs and just misses with a right. Krause lands a front kick to the face that is on the money, and Stout hits the deck. Krause follows it up with another kick. But he can't finish. Stout's never been knocked out. Good punches for Stout as he recovers from the danger back on the feet. Krause is otside, and again he goes high with a kick that lands. Stout gets defensive and takes the fight to the ground, and Stout is cut and bleeding badly. Stout is on his back and Krause is looking to do something here out of guard on top. Stout recovers nicely to full guard, and finally gets back up. Stiff left jab for Krause. Cartwheel style kick for Krause draws some buzz from the crowd, and he follwos it with a body kick. It's a 10-9 first round for Krause on the MMAjunkie.com card.

Round 2 - Quick kick from Krause, but Stout lands a good right. Krause nearly lands another big kick to the head, then lands an outside leg kick. They're swinging, but not landing. Stout trying to get inside, but Krause's range is giving him a problem. But a left to the body has Krause backing up. Stout looks for it again. But he lands a left to the body himself, then tries to go up high with the kick. Stouth kicks to the body. About two minutes in, Krause takes the perfect opportunity to get a takedown, and he lands it. He'll try to land some punches and elbows up top, but Stout gets back to full guard. Stout uses an opportunity to get back to his feet when Krause postures up for a punch, and we're back to standing again. Stout's cut is open again, but it's away from his right eye. Couple kicsk from Stout, then a right. Outside leg kick from Krause. A short little scramble has Stout on top with 25 seconds to work. Stout does some good work late, and he's going to take the round 10-9 on our card.

Round 3 - Crucial round here, and the two will touch gloves after a fun 10 minutes so far. Stout pushing forward early. He lands a couple rights and he's trying to go back to the body. But Krause lands a nice counter right and a pair of kicks. Stout misses a high kick, but Krause lands his. They trade leg kicks. Flying knee for Krause lands, but Stout doesn't go down. High kick from Stout is blocked. Some big punches in a comb from Krause, then another knee attempt. Superman punch from Stout is off the mark, and Krause lands a kick to the outside. Krause putting the pressure on now and Stout is circling on the outside. Good stiff jab from Krause. With two minutes left, it remains fairly tight. But Krause looks pretty calm, and he lands some good jabs. Good combo again from Krause, and an elbow lands. They trade, and Stout gets a couple in. Krause strikes well with him, but Stout goes for a takedown. He gets it. But Krause has a choke. It's tight. It looks like Stout might tap. But he doesn't. Then Krause rolls him and he gets the tap.
