I dont think anybody would of said that if this fight wasnt in 2007, aka the year of upsets.

But i have to agree, i have a feeling about this.

To be honest, i think Nogueira took too much dmg in his career, and i dont think he could handle any kind of hit without falling down.

Bring back knees strikes on grounded opponents.. Give me good arguments for not having them for crying out loud.

^ Exactly. Plus his wrestling skills are slacking , if Herring is able to take em down at willl (which i think he will be able to) he could easily win a decision in this one, another thing is Nog doesnt really get going until the 2nd rd (in Pride) which was 10 minute rounds, this 5 minute rds doesnt give him enough time to set up submissions and wear down his opponents like he usually does IMO, i think he is going to have a very tough time in the UFC and adapting the rules, we will see soon enuff

Herring couldn't even handle Jake O'Brien, a newcomer to the
UFC! The big Nog has defeated nearly every other HW in PRIDE
except Fedor (the baddest man on the planet) and a close
decision against Josh Barnett (could've gone either way imho).

Minotaur has NEVER been submitted in his 30+ fights and his
striking skills have been steadily improving.

Herring doesn't stand a snow balls change unless Nog has
been paid to take a fall! (LOL).

I'm picking Nog all the way.
