If u bet 1000 on 1/1 u get the points that u bet plus another 1000

If anybody that isn't familiar with betting (bad habit for me in the real world) if it's 1/1 odds, you making 100 for every 100 you bet. 2/1 is making 200 for every 100 you bet, and 1/2 is making 100 for every 200.

-400 is you must bet 400 to make 100, and +400 is making 400 off of 100.

I think there was a boxing match this weekend where someone was a +1200 underdog. Was very tempted to bet on it but I know nothing about boxing sadly.

Roan Carneiro could submit Jon Fitch easily he is a Brazilian and Pan-American Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu champion and Meca World Fighting champion. Not a bum even though his record says that. He trains in boxing and BJJ for two hours a day each. I'm cheap I bet 4052 on both fighters just so I can double my money or stay even.

Goddamnit this is annoying. Yea I get what you guys are saying about the betting odds, I know that's how it's supposed to be and I'm pretty sure I've won points before after betting on 1:1. But Kameleon made this big post a couple events ago and it essentially said you make no profit whatsoever when you bet on the favorite. He said that's "the risk you take when you bet on the fav". I didn't get why it would be like that cuz it made no sense to me. But you guys are saying you still win money on 1:1 so either he was wrong or enough people complained to change it back

I got what you were saying cause I remember the post, but for the people that didn't know what the **** was going on and the vbookie stuff I gave a brief explanation if they happen to come across my post.

I'm sure it was just some haggard ass glitch or something.

It's cool man I didn't mean to come across like I meant YOU guys were being annoying. It's just that we have this arguement every event and nobody ever settles it 100% we're always still left guessing.

Ok im gonna settle this. I have bet on 1/1 and made money.

I have also bet on 1/2 (Fedor) and won money.

I dont know if Kameleon didn't explain it very well or if ya got confused but you do make money if those fighters win.
Ya wouldn't see so many ppl betting on 1/1 or 1/2 if there wasn't any points up for grabs.

Bottom-line: You still make money if odds are 1/1 or it would be a pointless bet. Hell, Fedor odds are always 1/2 so technically that would mean you always LOSE money even if he wins the fight. That just does not make any sense.

P.S. I made money off of 1/1 and 1/2 odds so it works.
