Funny. They were talking about this on MMA hour. Brown is ranked like 5 and Silva like 14... yet Silva is a 2-1 favorite.

The betting public feels that Silva is a blue chip prospect that learns a lot w each defeat, but that athletically he's a freak. Brown is a journeyman grinder on a phenomenal run that has to end eventually and is overmatched here. He's also 36 and coming off surgery and an extended layoff as a result. That's what the numbers tell me anyway. I still bet 500k on Brown because as long as he's rolling, I'll take him as a 2:1 dog for sure. There's value there, even if I expect Erick to win. After all I expected Wonderboy and Mein to win, too.
