500k on Diego. Diego's recent losses were both against top notch competition. Ross is not even top 10.

Round 1 – Building is electric, and Sanchez moves quickly forward. He looks to kick to start. Pearson throws a lead hook that’s short. He seems to want to wait for Sanchez’s initial onslaught. Sanchez with a high kick that just misses. Pearson staying tight for now, not looking to brawl. Sanchez pacing himself, and he eats a solid right hand. Sanchez fires a big left, but Pearson again with a strong right hand to counter. It’s technical work from Pearson right now. halfway mark. Sanchez working kicks to the body, but he can’t seem to find them. Pearson quick on the jab. Sanchez kicks the body again. Pearson has a kick to the body blocked. Pearson times his opponent’s advance and lands a spectacular body shot. Crowd trying to will Sanchez forward with one minute left. he catches a Pearson kick and pushes him to the cage but lets him move off the fence. Sanchez high kick misses. He unleashes a flurry to close. MMAjunkie gives the first to Pearson, 10-9.

Round 2 – Sanchez takes the center and moves forward. Pearson looking to time his advances, and he just misses a big right hand. Sanchez drops for a leg, but Pearson pulls away with ease. Sanchez continues to kicks the body, but Pearson pushing forward. Chants of “Yes!” fill the arena, but Pearson getting the best of the exchanges. Sanchez scores with a right hand that staggers Pearson, but he quickly recovers. Two minutes into the round. Pearson walking forward, setting the pace. Sanchez fires a spinning kick that partially lands. Crowd cheering non-stop for Sanchez. he scores with a kick to the body. Pearson fighting within himself, not overextending or brawling. he lands a straight right that sends Sanchez to the floor. That hurt. he pops back up and asks for more. Pearson swarming, but he backs away. Pearson catches a kick and sweeps Sanchez to the floor. Sanchez gets back up and wants desperately to brawl. Sanchez flurries at the bell. MMAjunkie gives it Pearson, 10-9.

Round 3 – Sanchez is going to need a finish, and he’s fighting like he knows it. Out quickly. Sanchez moving forward, but it’s not quite enough to corner Pearson so far. He does land a jab that stuns Pearson briefly, but he can’t score on the follow-up rush. Sanchez fires a high kick, but it doesn’t land lush. Halfway through the final round. Sanchez pressing like crazy, but Pearson avoiding well. Sanchez just misses on a high kick. Pearson seems to be moving well, but he’s also trying to stay away. He does score a sharp jab, and Sanchez is bleeding. Kick to the body for Pearson followed by a straight right hand. Sanchez is tough as nails. One minute left. Crowd comes alive. They want him to brawl. He’s still moving forward. Sanchez just misses a wild spinning kick. Pearson still firing off technical shots. Leaping knee form Sanchez misses, and they go nuts at the bell. Sanchez gave the fans want they wanted, but MMAjunkie gives the round to Pearson, 10-9, giving him the fight 30-27. Wow. Judges don’t agree.

Result: Diego Sanchez def. Ross Pearson via split decision (27-30, 30-27, 29-28)
