It doesn't really matter what it came down to. People have been making out like Shogun is god all year and I'm just glad that all the talking will finally stop. I'm more happy for Forrest than anything else.

Forrest's superior conditioning won him the fight for sure. I dunno what the hell was wrong with Shogun's conditioning, usually its top notch but he gassed pretty quick. 10 minute first round in PRIDE and he has trouble with this

Same here. I knew this was Forrest's chance to prove himself, and he exceeded my expectations. If he lost to Shogun, he would have lost to one of the greatest P4P fighters in the world. He had nothing to lose, really, especially since everybody expected Shogun to walk right through him. I'm proud to be a Forrest fan. I'm still excited for Shogun to come back, but I'm very happy with Forrest's win.
