Not only did Sylvia to good on the ground with Monson he also lasted with Randy. If he can not get subbed by either one of them then he surely can handle Vera on the ground. I think Sylvia also has the advantage in the stand-up, so I'll probably be going with him towards fight time. I just don't know what kind of shape either of them are in since Sylvia is coming off surgery and Vera is coming off of a year layoff

i like vera alot, but i just can't see him beating tim. vera's got good jui-jitsu, but he's not gonna use it in this fight. tims too big for vera to takedown, i see tim winning with a KO.

Tim's not too big to take down. Especially for a pro fighter. Old ladies can take a full grown man down, it just takes technique. Vera may not stand with Tim, but he can definitely take it to the ground.

I am defintely not touching this one. I think Vera is overrated, but this could go either way.

I think I'm gonna wait till closer to the fight to make my choice. I just don't know what shape either of them are in. Surgery can make or break people and year lay off can do the same for your first fight back.
