UFN 87: Francimar Barroso vs Nikita Krylov

Round 1 – Krylov rushes forward with jabs to start. Barroso retreats to the cage and briefly trades punches before looking to clinch. They battle against the cage. Krylov works to the outside and looks to change levels. Barroso holds tight as he defends, and they trade knees. Krylov finally backs away, and they trade wilds hots again. Krylov just misses a big high kick. Barroso able to slip around to the back as they work, but Krylov turns in and pulls away. Krylov moving frward and looking to strike. Barroso there to answer. He’s throwing big overhand rights, but Krylov seems unaffected. He flurries until the bell. MMAjunkie gives the first to Krylov, 10-9.

Round 2 – Krylov comes out quickly fires a flurry of punches and a high kick. Barroso covers up against the fence. He clinches up and scores a takedown, but Krylov rolls right over to the top. Krylov postures, and Barroso catches him with a nasty upkick. Krylov absorbs it and continues the attack. He’s warned for a head butt, and we fight on. Barroso turns for an armbar, but Krylov just spins with it and stays on top. Barroso turns to attack the leg. He’s very active. Krylov turns through all of it and ends up on his opponent’s back. Krylov looking for the choke, and Barroso unable to prevent it. Quick tap, and this is over. Didn’t look like the arm was under the chin, but he got the tap. Result: Nikita Krylov def.
