Vinny all the way on this one. Although I do hope Bader doesn't catch him because his semi final was attrocious and after that he doesn't deserve to win the contract, He's done it once against a BJJ guy, he'll do it again.

Vinny has little standup and honestly if Vinny pulls guard (he's not getting a real TD on Bader) Bader should be able to hold him still till the ref stands it up.

If I were Bader I'd punish the shit out of vinny for pulling guard too. Make sure when he pulls it I land with all my weight on my elbow in his ribs. It's really hard to sub a guy when you've got bruised or possibly even broken ribs. Will defiantly make you rethink pulling guard next time.

Lol, bbjd are you getting tired of making that same post about Vinny in every thread? I would think people would start actually absorbing it at some point.

Yea I'm going crazy I think people see something on TUF and decided that it's fact.

Vinny doesn't have some new level of BJJ the UFC has never seen before.

The UFC offered Jacare a spot on TUF 7 I can only imagine the hype he would be getting with his background lol.
(BTW just because I think it'll annoy you they offered a spot to Rosholt on TUF 7 too)

I could make a long post showing you how Maia, Werdum, even BJ have done more then him however I don't want to so I will answer your post by just telling you one thing.

None of those were at black belt:doh01:

Thats fine which is why I didn't want to call your post dumb.

I'm just really getting tired of people not understanding that Vinny BJJ isn't something we haven't seen before.

Now I never said it wasn't anything we haven't seen before. My argument started with my opinion that Vinny's BJJ will be more than Bader will be able to handle, no matter how good of a wrestler Bader is. When this season started, I had Bader to win the entire thing...but after watching his matches, I've since moved far away from that notion. I honestly don't see anything that Bader has that Vinny doesn't.

Omg Vini's BJJ is so amazing! It is by far the best BJJ ever seen in the UFC! As soon as Vini enters the match his oppenent, mortified by the realization his arm is about to snap in two, will most likely wet himself and/or soil himself. Vini would beat anyone in the UFC with one hand tied his back and one leg in a rollerblade.

jk :)
Thought i'd have a little fun with you guys, no offense intended.
Seriously, though, I do think Vini is gonna do well in the UFC.

I think if he can take a punch which I'm not sure about he will be successful but I'm 50/50 on whether I think he can take a punch.

His cardio is a question also since he won his 2 career fights in 21 and 19 seconds but has lost or drawn the 3 that went longer.

I've said it since the beginning and only feel more strongly about it now, Bader's a punk. He's THE most overrated fighter ever on TUF. He's weak, boring, and this one won't even be close.
