I was cheering for Serra because he's a full time fighter, this and his school is all he's got. I figured that Lytle has his regular life to back to and losing wouldn't effect him that greatly. So like I said I wanted Serra to win but he didn't, Lytle won that fight and the decision was bullshit. The UFC has slipped into in the corrupt wasteland that professional boxing wallows in.
Complete BS, sorry but been the aggressor doesn't mean much if you are not doing shit. I like Serra, think he's a good fighter but on this one Lytle was much better than him during the first two rounds. The score cards were ****ing hilarious, and the response of the audience was expected
Well Lutter was going to win, I thought it was fairly obvious though I did want Cote' to win because he is a canadian. I think Anderson Silva showed some great class and seemed pretty well spoken (from what was translated)
The Serra Lytle fight should have gone to the fourth round. I was extremely dissapointed in Lytle, he was hyped as a boxer and threw so few punches. But hats off to him his takedown defense was excellent. Serra has no chance and will definently get destroyed by whoever wins the title fight.
mr. white judged the fight ... i thought it was pretty even, if i had to give an edge to serra or lytle i would have to say lytle but it was uf4 -- the matt serra show ... congrats to him he is a good fighter and seems like a good guy ... he is gonna have his hands full with hughes or st. pierre GL to him
Exactly...that's why I have such little respect for UFC title holders and that's why guys like Anderson Silva can come and walk through a UFC champ who hasn't lost in 3 years...because their careers and manufactured and their records are bullshit. All you have to do to get cakewalk fights and win questionable decisions in the UFC is be popular.
Oh well, at least a bunch of dumb f*cking doofuses who dont know sh!t about MMA will think they're watching the "best" and Dana White will line his greasy pockets with more $
