First off Arlovski's chin > Cain's chin, secondly you have to remember Rothwell had to be damn careful because Arlovski is once of the most fierce strikers in the game, he has to worry about Cain taking him down not knocking him down and that gives him more freedom to open up. How the hell can you argue that Cain has one of the best chins in the division? That doesn't even make sense, don't give me the BS about Kongo would have finished anybody else cause Im not buying it, Kongo has had a ton of fights in the UFC and never had that kind of success knocking opponents down with every other shot even the cans Kongo fought had more chin. Cain has tremendous wrestling but he has a jaw of fine china and his ground and pound is as threatening as a gaggle of baby geese.

I agree with some of what you are saying, but how can you say that a guy who has been knocked out numerous times has a better chin then a guy who has never been knocked out? Also, i dont think you can say a guy that has never been knocked out has a weak chin, there isnt any proof to suggest that. I rewatched the Kongo/Cain fight again last night and Cain immediately recovered from every one of the hard shots that Kongo landed. I dont know if Cain has a great chin or not, but so far it hasnt been proven to be weak. Anyway, once again i think Cain will take a UD by controlling Rothwell on the ground for most of this fight. Cain keeps a high pace and i dont think Rothwell will be able to keep up with him for three rounds.

Arlovski has never been knocked out by anyone except some guys who were some of the most dangerous strikers in MMA, don't kid yourself guys like Sylvia and Rizzo were very dangerous men when they fought Arlovski, Arlovski gets to much hell for his "glass chin" he may not have an iron chin but its not like anyone can KO him. Recovery does not equal chin and those dazed takedowns may work on somebody like Kongo but they won't work on somebody with some actual TD defense, if Rothwell drops Cain he will finish him.
My point remains that Cain has never been knocked out. Just went and checked it out, Arlovski has been knocked out eight times in his career. At this point you cant seriously be comparing these guys chins.

Arlovski has been knocked out 7 times, once over 10 years ago when he just started fighting and the other 6 are Rizzo, Sylvia X2, Fedor, Rogers and Ricco Rodriguez (pre drug problem when Rodriguez was a monster). Cain has fought nobody as dangerous as half the people on Arlovski's resume, we'll see what Cain's record looks like when his name deserves to be mentioned in the same sentence as Arlovski's, Cain has fought 6 fights and one semi credible opponent who was a one dimensional striker (who dropped him what 4 times?), Arlovski has had almost 30 fights (5 times as many for those keeping score) against far more credible opponents including the #1 HW in the world and at least what 9 others who would have easily been top 10 at the time. To even try and compare Cain's record to Arlovski's is ridiculous. Cain hasn't even fought a top 10 HW yet.

I think you are confusing a fighters defense with their chin. Arlovski doesn't always get knocked out because he has great defense and boxing skills. Velasquez lacks defense and head movement, but the guys with the best chins usually do. And you gotta think him having took those punches from Kongo makes him MUCH more aware of what he needs to work on. Velasquez is one of those guys that won't make the same mistake in this fight.
And you are wrong about Velasquez being dropped by every shot Kongo hit him with.

Ok, you do realize that was a bit of an a exaggeration but that may be the only punch he hit him with (Does it land its hard to tell) that didn't drop him.
