wish the real $ odds were this sweet, made out like a bandit here
$500 on cain at +145 didnt do me bad. and the extra $100 for the "cain wont get subbed" bet, i even gave 5 to 1 on that so i was def sweating it hehe
honestly i have never been this nervous for a fight, even when i was in real ones lol. i was calm after literally the 1st exchange, you could clearly see Cains speed and technique advantage from the get go. Every exchange had purpose and power. Every punch had good footwork and hip movement. His kicks were crisp and powerful. He just looked smooth. The Cain ive seen in training videos, the Cain guys in the gym seriously dont wanna work out with for long periods of time. He just hurts ppl. Standing or on the ground.
The true confidence in his striking was all he lacked. You dont outbox Buentello weekly and kickbox with Mendez daily and not become a good striker. He has been that good for awhile but just went to his bread and butter all the time. The takedowns and Gnp, which incase some of the short memory MMA fans might forget, Cain is still the best HW at.
The HW GSP. I said that months ago and got laughed at. I said he was versatile with the striking and his wrestling and control is above all others. Mocked and ridiculed. Delusional and only cheering for him cuz he is latino... ahhh redemption.
Ill say it again. Cain will be Champion in 2010. He is the HW GSP. He wont be stopped. If your stand up is too good, he will take you down. If you lack standup, he will eat you up and likely KO you. If you have strength and size advantage he will use speed and cardio. He has all the traits of GSP.
