All in on Thunder! Okami really impressed me with his last fight and his act of literally learning from his defeat by training with Sonnen. This guy's the best thing to come outta Japan since Nintendo.

1.5 K on Okami, the odds suck but Grove was whooping Munoz's butt and Okami is much better than Grove. Okami has also looked good against everyone but Sonnen but Munoz is nowhere near the wrestler Sonnen is.

Is Linhares a good fighter?

It may be the only reason Okami looked impressive is due to a step down in competition?

Perhaps, but technique is still technique ... his last fight and the one against Tanner showed he has great stand up technique, and he's already shown stellar wrestling and top control. It's not like Munoz has that much better stand up than Linhares. And I haven't seen anyone showcase that kind of boxing technique in the cage yet except JDS and BJ. I mean lead uppercuts on the button followed by dodge, pivot and clean hook ... lead knees on the button .. crisp jabs on the button over and over ... it was so smooth, a beauty to watch.

As for Munoz' wrestling, I'm hoping training with Sonnen should give Okami a heads up in that regard ... it's not like Munoz has translated his wrestling creds that well to MMA, his takedowns have looked relatively weak to be honest.

But you have a point, Linhares doesn't prove much ... this fight should tell us where Okami truly stands. I just gotta good feeling about Okami though .

You gotta remember to that the move to train in the US after the Sonnen fight is huge for a guy like Okami because the problem he has in Japan is he is one of the biggest strongest guys in the gym and he is the best wrestler. Its hard to really improve under those circumstances and its amazing he has came as far as he has.
