Perhaps, but technique is still technique ... his last fight and the one against Tanner showed he has great stand up technique, and he's already shown stellar wrestling and top control. It's not like Munoz has that much better stand up than Linhares. And I haven't seen
anyone showcase that kind of boxing technique in the cage yet except JDS and BJ. I mean lead uppercuts on the button followed by dodge, pivot and clean hook ... lead knees on the button .. crisp jabs on the button over and over ... it was so smooth, a beauty to watch.
As for Munoz' wrestling, I'm hoping training with Sonnen should give Okami a heads up in that regard ... it's not like Munoz has translated his wrestling creds that well to MMA, his takedowns have looked relatively weak to be honest.
But you have a point, Linhares doesn't prove much ... this fight should tell us where Okami truly stands. I just gotta good feeling about Okami though
