nope, left counter down the pipe on Franks easy and predictable boxing.

The same left counter that was finding a home multiple times vs JDS, a striker with much more power, technique and a better chin than Mir.

I dont know if CC will win, but if his mind is right he can definitely find a home for some solid shots and we all know Frank tends to fold in tough spots.

Prob betting some credits on CC but def not real $, i can easily see Mir getting the fight to the ground at some point and subbing CC.

That was not how I wanted the fight to go. Im happy for Mir while not very impressed with his performance (besides the KO) and im not happy with Mirko and feel bad for him.

This fight was a no win as a fan of both, oh wait! I won credits!

Mir fights for position, but Filipovic maintains underhooks. Mir looks for a high crotch, but Filipovic circles away from the cage. Mir again uses the inside leg kick to set up punches, but Filipovic snuffs it out. Nonetheless, Mir presses him against the fence, where the fighters trade knees. Herb Dean calls for a restart after a lull. Mir fires off shots from distance, but Filipovic easily avoids. Mir presses him against the cage and delivers some punches for good measure. It's a close first round, but MMAjunkie.com has it 10-9 for Mir.

Round 2 - Filipovic throws an overhand left that hits his opponent's bicep and then ducks under a right. Mir goes low with a kick. The boo birds return as the fighters do little to engage. Mir, though, closes the distance, gets underhooks and looks to take the fight to the mat. But Filipovic fends it off and is pressed against the cage. Mir delivers a knee to the body as Filipovic tries to create distance. More boos, and Dean calls for another restart. Mir lands a nice low kick to halt Filipovic's advance. A second misses its mark. The fighters trades short hooks and reset. Mir again clinches and puts Filipovic against the cage, and the boos quickly return. The fighters trade knees, but Filipovic maintains underhooks to keep Mir from doing much. However, Mir creates some room and fires off a pair of knees to the body. Filipovic looks to reverse, but Mir presses him back against the cage. Dean calls for another restart. The fighters trade jabs. Both stand in the center of the cage, but neither is anxious to engage. Filipovic drops his hands, Mir does the same, and the crowd lets them hear it. MMAjunkie.com scores a snoozer of a round 10-9 for Mir.

Round 3 - Mir works jabs, but the fighters then just bounce and circle. The boo birds aren't happy. The fighters clinch, trade knees, and then reset. Mir clinches and looks for the trip takedown, but Filipovic easily avoids. Filipovic backs him up with a punch. Little fighting from close range, and the crowd quickly is losing interest. Filipovic fires off some punches, but Mir easily shakes it off. Filipovic finally gets through a big shot and gets Mir's attention. Mir pushes forward with a lunging combo. Nothing lands, and he pins Filipovic against the cage again. More booing, and this event is ending on a sour note with a few minutes to go. Mir dips looking for the takedown. He can't get it, and Dean tells them to get busy. They don't, and he calls for a restart. The fighters trade jabs, but neither wants to really commit. Mir presses his opponent against the cage again, but Filipovic circles away. Out of nowhere, Mir connects on a a knee from the clinch and drops Filipovic, and Dean quickly calls an end to the fight. Frank Mir def. Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic via knockout (knee) - Round 3, 4:02.
