0.31 for Miller? Definetily not worth the risk, dropping a small bet for the odds on Doerksen

Wow they're crazy odds. I can see Miller running through Doerksen though, the man's got his back against the wall ...

Dan Miller gets the split dec:

Quote:
Round 1 - Referee Marc-Andre Cote in the cage for the night's final preliminary fight. Miller digs a right to the body early. The two trade in the pocket, and Doerksen scores the best shot with an overhand right. Miller stands firm and fires back before shooting in for a successful takedown. Doerksen with butterfly guard underneath. Miller advances to half-mount and looks to set up a kimura. Doerksen defends it and pushes up to escape. Miller latches onto a guillotine choke and rolls. He can't finish from the top, but he maintains top position. Two minutes in. Doerksen tying up from the bottom. Miller delivers an elbow from the top. Doerksen with a closed guard, and the pace is slow. Cot stands at a distance and lets them work. Miller postures up and eats an upkick before dropping right back into a closed guard. Not much happening, though Miller does land two big elbows from the top. One minute remains. Miller gets in a few hammerfists. Doerksen really just trying to stall underneath, at least for now. Crowd is not happy with the round. Miller gets a few more punches before the bell, and he takes the round on the MMAjunkie.com card, 10-9.

Round 2 - Outside leg kick from Doerksen. Miller lunges forward with punches. Miller ducks in and lands another takedown, but Doerksen immediately sweeps to the top. Doerksen controls the legs as he postures, and he dives in with a few stiff straights. Miller now working the closed guard. Doerksen stays tight. He does posture, and Miller tries to work in a triangle choke. Doerksen pulls away, but Miller uses the space to scramble up and push Doerksen to the floor. Halfway in, and Miller is on top again. Very slow pace again. Doerksen leans to his elft and locks in a kimura. Miller trying to defend, but Doerksen pulls the arm out. Miller trues to lean back to defend. He rolls over to escape. Doerksen keeps the arm, but Miller swings to the top in an excellent defensive transition. Miller works again from the guard. He drives in a few short, stinging shots. He advances to half-mount, but he's not really capitalizing with the position. Not much to look at in the final seconds, and the crowd gives but a smattering of applause at the end. It's a close round. Doerksen's kimura attempt was the most significant action. MMAjunkie.com gives him the round, 10-9.

Round 3 - Both fighters swing early. Doerksen lands an early right hand, but Miller again nails a takedown. Doerksen tries to work his legs up for a submission, but ti's not there. Miller starting to bleed badly as Doerksen pushes his head away and slips in elbows from underneath. Cote takes a knee to get a better look, but he lets the action carry on. Miller walks Doerksen into the cage and works left hands. Doerksen spins his head away from the cage. Doerksen rolls again for a kimura. It looks like there may be space to stand, but Miller pushes in quickly to eliminate that gap. Two minutes left. Miller grinding away on top. Cote comfortable with the pace, even if the crowd isn't. Miller throwing short lefts from the top. Doerksen doing the same from the bottom while looking for elbows too. Blood all over Doerksen's torso. One minute left. Punches traded, though none land significantly. Doerksen tries to kick his legs up in the final seconds, but Miller postures. Not much to score in the final frame. MMAjunkie.com gives it to Miller, 10-9, giving him the fight, 29-28, though a 10-10 final frame and 28-28 draw would be perfectly justified. Dan Miller def. Joe Doerksen via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28).
