Guida wins this easily. He can take a shot and will outwork the smaller weaker Gomi. Around 3 minutes in Gomi will already be slowing down and look gassed, his only chance is to land that lucky shot early but I don't see him doing it twice in a row.

Gomi even if he doesn't land that KO blow, will still easily outsrike Guida here. He is no match on the feet!

And look up Gomi's history against Wrestlers much better then Guidas Wresting ability.

Cardio is a factor But Gomi looks better then ever!

Round 2 - Guida lands an early jab, and he continues to bounce and move. Guida shoots and comes up short, and Gomiu lands a right hand. Gomi finding his jab now as Guida slows just slightly. Guida shoots in. Gomi sprawls well and scampers away. Brief trade against the cage, bit nothing of consequence. Guida still active on the outside, but Gomi is starting to find him a bit more. Guida's counters coming up short for the most par. High kick again from Guida. Guida lans a lead left. Right hand for Guida with two minutes left. Guida ducks into a knee but continues through with the shot and scores a takedown. Half-mount again, and Gomi spins as he looks for a kimura. Guida avoids it and pushes him back flat. Gomi again looks for the kimura, and Guida locks in a guillotine from the top. He rolls over to get more pressure as Gomi tries to escape, and the choke is in tight. Gomi taps. Clay Guida def. Takanori Gomi via submission (guillotine choke) - Round 2, 4:27.
