I just saw the fight and had it crystal clear 29-28 for Kampmann. Stuffing takedowns are also octagon controll, the more I think about it the more silly the decision seems to me. Well guess thats the nature of the game. Atleast they were better then the Australian judges this weekend.
Not only that, but did you see Diego's face? That should have told the whole story! Diego was clever in that he started swinging for the fences and looked like the agressor, but Kampmann was by far the winner IMO.

Yeah I hate that, start swinging for the fences like a wildman and the retarded judges will automatically think you're winning...

Exactly, plus when are they gonna start awarding, or even acknowledging take down defense? Kampmann stuffed countless take downs and then Diego compelted one in the final round which Kampmann got up from with ease. Actually the more I think about it the more shocking that decision is. Atheletic Comission really need to sort their judging out.

There are those who would argue that you can tell who won a fight by looking at each participant's face when it's over. They're usually the same people who think takedowns are worthless and jiu-jitsu is some vague form of cheating, so don't listen to them.

Except just this once they seem to have a point. Both Diego Sanchez and Martin Kampmann took some damage in the main event of UFC on Versus 3, but it was Sanchez whose face looked like a Picasso that had been left out in the rain by the time it was all over. And you're telling me this guy won?
