Round 1 - Referee Mario Yamasaki in the cage for tonight's first fight as we go live on Facebook. Walker takes the center but eats an inside low kick. Hougland answers with his own low kicks before missing high, as well. Walker pushes forward, but Hougland ducks under with a takedown. Hougland postures up with punches and looks to advance, but Walker keep the guard i place. Hougland landing a few punches from the top, but Walker stalling out well underneath. Closed guard for Walker, and Hougland sneaks in an elbow. Hougland breaks the guard, lands a few shots and drops back for a guillotine choke. He brings his legs up high on the back, looking for the finish, but Walker breaks free after a few tense moments. Two minute remain. Walker now with his chance on top. Hougland gets his left leg on the shoulder and looks to be working for an armbar. Walker defends it, shifts his opponent and wraps his right arm around the neck. Not there, and Hougland pulls free. Hougland rolls again and drives in, reversing the position agains the cage. Hougland tries to take top position, but Walker secures his leg and looks o attack with a submission. Hougland lasts through it, and the back-and-forth round comes to an end. Close frame, but MMAjunkie.com likes Hougland, 10-9.
Round 2 - Low kicks again traded to open. Hougland lands a nice front kick to the gut. Hougland pushes forward with punches, but Walker retreats well. Punches and kicks in the pocket, but neither landing any real significant work. A little more than a minute in, the punching escalates, and both look to be settled in and ready to bang. Walker misses a high kick and is nearly dumped on the floor, but he remains upright. Houglandstill working the low kicks and mixing in pinches. Walker shows a small cut on his brow. Halfway in. Walker's right eye dotted up form the work. He continues to move forward, but Hougland is getting the best of it. Leaping knee from Hougland appears to catch Walker low, and he takes a brief stop. Back to action quickly though. Hougland reaching with his jab, but he keeps finding a home. Walker presses in, and Hougland grabs another arm-in guillotine and falls to the canvas in full guard. It looks deep, and Yamasaki actually touches Walker to make sure he's OK. He is, but Hougland keeps the hold tight. Pressure on the neck until the final second leaves blood spurting from Walker, but he survives. Hougland takes another round on the MMAjunkie.com card, 10-9.
Round 3 - Walker looks to be the aggressor early, and he connects. Hougland returns fire and presses into the clinch. Walker spins off, and the pair trade knees. Hougland drops for a takedown, and Walker tries to grab his neck. No dice, but he sets up on top. Hougland shifts underneath and secures an armbar. Walker lifts him up and drives him headfirst into the canvas. Hougland releases, and Walker continues to work in his opponent's guard. Hougland tries to control the wrist, but Yamasaki wants the fight back on the feet. Hougland looks a little tired, and Walker catches him with a few right hands on the feet. Hougland drops again for a takedown, but Walker snuffs it out and looks to attack the neck. Hougland keeps it safe and nails a beautiful sweep to move to the top. He tries to posture up and land, but he settles for just maintaining top control. Hougland works left hands to the head and body while Walker tries to punch and elbow from undeneath.
