Round 1 - Referee Josh Rosenthal in the cage. O'Brien lands an inside leg kick as the rangy fighters feel out the distance. Miller on the outside. O'Brien misses with a front kick and a jab. Feeling out early as both fighters refuse to overcommit. O'Brien digs well to the body with a right. O'Brien flurries. Miller blocking most of it, but a few sneak through. Halfway in, and it's even early Miller now controlling the center, and he lands up top and then to the legs. Miller starting to stalk, but O'Brien comfortable in his countershots. Miller beginning to open up, and he sneaks in a few stiff straights. Jab popping, as well. O'Brien misses with a few kicks as he looks to answer the growing volume from Miller. Miller looks to catch a late kick, but the fights stays up. Fight ends there, and MMAjunkie.com sees a slight edge for Miller, 10-9.

Round 2 - O'Brien opens a little quicker,a nd a nice combination has Miller on the run. He pulls away and resets. Miller looks to jab again, but O'Brien starting to mix in a few kicks and let his hands go more freely. As he does, a crisp left hook sees him hit the deck. Miller stands over O'Brien and kicks the legs. O'Brien tries to grab a leg. As he moves up, Miller locks in a guillotine choke, falls to his back and then rolls to top position. O'Brien tries hard to survive, but he is trapped and forced to tap. Nice finish. Cole Miller def. T.J. O'Brien via submission (guillotine choke) - Round 2, 2:38.
