They were very very close when they first came out, but all the bookies are leaning more towards Overeem now and I made them more up to date here too. Guess they took their time but the gamblers most agree with you.
Yeah, i remember when it was announced and they were both at 1.0sth and Overeem a slight favorite.
I'm hesitant to bet on this one. Brock lost his last one over a year ago and it's hard to say how he'll look after such a long layoff and illnesses. Setting skill aside, does he have the heart and drive to beat Overeem now?
However Overeem didn't look particularly good striking against the lighter Werdum, and fought a long series of extremely mediocre opponents leading up to Werdum, with the exception of a NC to a faded cro-cop and a KO of a Todd Duffee who while promising was still largely unproven.
I think a prime, confident Lesnar could keep Reem on his back but whether that Lesnar will be here on fight day is a big question mark, and if he's not there's no reason Reem can't KO Brock. I would have felt a lot better putting creds on reem two months ago when the odds were more even, because there are some serious unknowns here.
