Round 1 - A touch of gloves gets us started. Cholish rushes in with punches but can't get the takedown. Cholish shoots for a single leg and then must fend off a guillotine before resetting. Clarke works jabs. Clarks lands a nice uppercut before Cholish answers with a low kick. Competitive fight thus far. Cholish lands a nice straight jab while faking a shot. Cholish then gets through a solid right hook. Cholish works a trip takedown, but Clarke takes his back in the process and tries to slam him to the mat. Cholish, though, rolls and works for a kneebar in a smooth transition but settles for top position and works from full guard. Clarke puts his back against the cage and tries to stand, but Cholish pulls him back to the mat. Cholish stands and looks to rain down a punch but allows Clarke to stand. Clarke gets through a short uppercut, but Cholish answers with a low kick. Clarke swings, but he's got little behind his punches and doesn't have the reach. Clarke keeps swinging and missing before fending off a takedown. MMAjunkie.com scores it 10-9 for Cholish.

Round 2 - Cholish lands a nice right and then follows with a low kick. The fighters trade jabs. Cholish waits for an opening and lands another nice right. He then shoots for a takedown, but Clarke fends it off as they clinch against the fencing before resetting. Clarke is still throwing a lot of punches, but little comes close to landing. Cholish with another right, but he's warned about low kicks. Cholish lands another pair of rights hooks. He resets and lands another big one. Cholish then dips under a punch and lands a nice double-leg takedown. Clarke lands against the cage, but Cholish works from inside his full guard. Clarke rolls his way free and then tries to take down Cholish, but Cholish uses a kimura attempt and ends up on top in back mount. Cholish rains down some heavy punches, and Clarke can do little but cover up. The ref halts the bout soon after. John Cholish def. Mitch Clarke via TKO (strikes) - Round 2, 4:36
