BJ Penn is more tehcnical than Diaz, also is Paul Daley, but it didn't help them. I don't see Condit finishing Diaz, he has KO power, but not that much. Paul Daley is in my eyes one of the P4P top 10 heaviest hitters, he landed flush on Diaz and still couldn't knock him out.

He might not have knocked him out, but he certainly knocked him down, dazed. Condit would take advantage of a situation like that far better then Daley did.

Having said that, War Diaz!

Not sure about that. Daley has far more wins by KO than Condit, he certainly hasn't had any problems taking advantage of a wounded opponent from what I've seen. Condit definitely has a better grasp of how to finish by submission in such a case, but I think Diaz is even harder to sub than KO. Personally I chalk the fact that a) -Diaz even got rocked- up to Daley's power, which I think Condit can't generally match and b) -the fact that he couldn't finish it there- up to Nick's resilience and rapid recovery time, not a lack of finishing instinct on Daley's part. Admittedly I haven't seen that fight in a while.

Overall Condit is a much better fight than Daley, I just don't think his well-roundedness is going to help him a lot against Diaz.

Everybody good, plenty of slaves for my robot colony?

I don't see Carlos submiting Nick or knocking him out. Paul Daley is the more technical and powerful striker than Condit and he couldn't do it. Eeking out a decision, meh..

Nick all the way.

An upset wouldn't surprise me terribly, but I still made my biggest bet ever on this site on Diaz. 330k. Call me crazy, but Lyoto had a better chance against JBJ I felt, and those odds were far worse if you were a JBJ backer. Can't wait.

I have no clue. I wouldn't be surprised if this fight goes either way. Whoever wins gets beat up by GSP.... badly.

No bets on my end. I only do them safe now a days.

RIP Jordan Corder. Watch over me from above brother.

what's funny is that condit is somehow considered the underdog.

The guy knows how to finish fights -- goodnight Diaz.
