It's Koscheck who shoots in on the restart and gets the takedown.Pierce wiggles and tries to pull free. Less than a minute, and Koscheck is simply tying u the legs, preventing the escape. Round 3 - Chants of "Koscheck sucks!" to open the third. Pierce attacks on a glove touch. Little confusion there. Koscheck lands a crisp right. Pierce finally gets a takedown, but Koscheck move quickly back to his feet. They remain in the clinch. Koscheck lands an elbow inside. They break, and Koscheck continues to control the center while firing off punches. They clinch up again. Both fighters having their moments. Jab for Pierce. Lead left for Pierce, but his right eye is closing. Koscheck shoots in, but it's another stalemate. Less than two minutes, and crowd wants a restart. Dean gives it to them shortly after. Koscheck pokes Pierce's eye. Accidental, but he did receive the earlier warning. Pierce not happy about it. Dean offers another warning. Pierce with a jab. Big punches traded. Definite war in the final minute. Koscheck gets a late takedown. Could be meaningful in a close fight. Pierce works to his feet. Flurry at the end, and both fighters celebrate victory.
