There Is No Way We Will Ever See Ortiz vs. Shamrock Again

Dana White said it best when he said ( and I'm paraphrasing here ) " You have to understand that when the Referee gets in the ring, he's got 2 lives on his hands, even if I don't agree with a call I would never question the judgement of the referee's." I concurr %100 . However the customer is always right and when there are over 12000 people screaming " Bull S*** " after what looks like a bad call, then it was a bad call. Plain and simple. There is absolutly no way we will see Tito vs. Shamrock again. The era of legends vs. currents is dead. I hated the call, even though it was warrented only in its technicality and it was the final nail in the coffin for the pioneers. I believe Dana sees the writing on the wall and is eager to usher in the new era of UFC vs. Pride and other MMA associations. To sum it all up, my vote for that call is " Bull S***!"

The majority of MMA fans have no idea what its like to be in an actual fight. I personally know what it feels like to have elbows rained down on your face, and let me tell you its no party. I'd gladly take a loss if its going to save me from permanent damage, for the fans to chant BullSh ....is completely rediculus. Its not a BS call as he was not defending himself, as i said before

Like i've said before. The rules say defend yourself at all times. Not eat 5 elbows. But i'm sure this is a silly rule and should be changed to eat 5 elbows. It would make all the fighter's completely braindead. Boy that would be exciting.

Would 5 more unblocked elbows would have satisfied you putmeonhold? I guess most UFC fans just wanna see blood. Dana, this is what happens when you market UFC like pro wrestling.

Guys like Shamrock and Gracie have earned their right to pay days so I'm not saying they shouldn't fight anymore, but UFC needs to let them fight guys their own age as they are ruining those guy's legacies by sticking them in with current top guys, those fights were embarrassing.

however. you are not ken shamrock. you are not tito ortiz. as you mature as a fighter...pain is temporary. pride is forever. i think herb dean should have let a few more elbows fly before stepping in...ken got up right after tito got off of him...ken took more of a beating in the first 20 seconds of the first fight than he did the whole 1 minute and 8 seconds they fought 2 nights ago. herb dean got over-anxious. although that is just my opinion, i would not disagree with herb..he saw what he saw and did what he thought was right. I do not think there will be a ortiz shamrock again either...but it would be nice.

p.s. the fighters have the option for physical or verbal tapout at any time during the regulation time of the bout.

dana white goes to these guys and asks them if they want to fight one another. the other option than yes...is no. they can choose not to fight but they do because they believe they can win. they can. but shamrock i believe is too seasoned and simply cannot hang with titos agression and composure. gracie i think is also too seasoned. he was taken down by matt hughes..someone not even nearly as big as kimo or dan severns. i would love to see a gracie shamrock3

And brain damage is forever too.

The only Shamrock/Ortiz fight I'd like to see made is Frank and Tito.

That's the same thing i was thinking. Everyone at Manadalay Bay that was chanting bullshit should be up against the gate and see how it feels to get 5 elbows in a row, instead of just feinding for blood. It's absolutely ridiculous.

Lol - I still think they will do it again to give Ortiz something to do while he is waiting for Chuck's schedule to have an opening. The belt will come in good time, but Chuck is the target, the man was laughing at the boos of the crowd as well.
