we need a vbookie poll for their post fight. I say it's a lovefest and they kiss and makeup.

so... joes favorite all time fighter is the guy who used to stomp Rampages ass.

coincidence.

He basically says when he's commentating that he isn't saying anything against anyone personally. That he's just doing his best to analyze the fight objectively and unfortunately he can't let someone's feelings get in the way of what he's suppose to do. If he notices something that he thinks would improve their game plan, it's his job to point it out.

Also went on to say he's not mad at rampage and that he hung out with/trained with him in the past and thinks he's a really cool guy.

He mentioned that he doesn't think he's biased towards BJJ guys.. if anything he prefers really aggressive strikers. Named Wanderla Silva in PRIDE as his all time favorite because you "knew exactly what the F you were getting into with him"

Regardless of what Rogan says he IS biased towards BJJ fighters. That doesn't mean he's a bad commentator overall, I actually think he does an okay job. But as a commentator I wish he was a little more objective.

I will flip shit if Rampage and Rogan pull a scene from Bruno after the fight.

Yea, Joe can lean a bit towards BJJ. But he mostly always gives props to fighters who are doing well regardless of the style. It's not like he doesn't gush over good strikers just the same.

Also, the ground game is something that is not really appreciated by the masses, so it makes sense for Joe to get excited about anything decent that happens down there. In truth, if it wasn't for Rogan, I wouldn't recognize half the shit that's going on. He's essentially promoting the part of the sport that needs promoting the most. Nothing wrong with that in my book.

It isn't just BJJ bias IMO, it's bias towards certain styles and fighters in general.

TUF babyfaces like Forrest always seem to get talked up far too much, people employing any sort of leg kicks, people fighting "exciting" but stupid over someone dominating with a solid gameplan, fighters he's trained or hung out with. He really is too biased.

People are just looking for a reason to hate on Joe for whatever reason. The response had zero knock back at Rampage, as most responses tend to be these days, Joe just tried to explain what he does as a commentator. Joe gave Rampage a bunch of love in his response, but it's the cool thing to hate on Joe right now.
