Fight Matrix, June 2010.

Wow, he was indeed at 57. But looking at the date when the rankings were published, he had lost to Bisping, been suspended for a year, then lost to Rosholt, though he had beaten Jay Silva in his last fight. Still, he was at a pretty low point. Fight Matrix hadn't been updated with his win over Aaron Simpson, which would have moved him up quite a bit. So, it's kind of a fluke that he was still ranked that low.

By the time the next rankings were published, and his wins over Simpson and Akiyama were taken into account, Leben was back up to 13.

Some people think that they can convey either a philosophy on life or a complex political statement using a signature on the internet. I'm not one of them.

Well. I would say Belcher is a tougher fight than Leban, but after that his matchups do get tougher after coming off of losses. That is very odd.

Fav Fighters:
BJ
GSP
Askren
JDS
Belcher
Shogun
Fedor
Hendo
Sonnen

The thing is even with that losing streak a lot of people think he will beat Shields. Vitor was the only fight where you couldn't really see a path to victory for him.

I think he will beat Sheilds. Hes a better striker and I dont think Sheilds will have his way with him on the ground. It should be a good fight as long as Akiyama does not gas.
