Akiyama vs Regular UFC Fighters: Graph

All rankings were at the time of fight
#16 ranked MWAlan Belcher
#57 ranked Chris Leben
#11 ranked Michael Bisping
#09 ranked Vitor Belfort
#05 ranked Jake Shields

I predict he fights for the title after his next loss.

I find it hard to believe Chris Leben was ranked #57. I'm not saying he's top 10 worthy, or even top 20 worthy, but 57 is pushing it.

lol, who would make a graph like this for a guy on a 3 fight losing streak. It means nothing. Akiyama is a good figher, but he does not beat good opponents, and lose to cans like this graph is trying to show, he has been losing to everyone.

Umm...I think you're mis-reading the graph there buddy . What the graph is trying to show is that after every loss, Akiyama fights a much tougher opponent. This is the opposite trend for other fighters who lose and get an easier opponent.

LOL. It is a little strange that he keeps getting fed to contender after contender. Maybe Dana wants to drop his stock and just cant make it happen?

The Y-Axis is fighter difficulty in ranking at the time of their fight, the X-Axis is number of loses. This is what I got out of it. It is weird and probably better depicted in a bar graph.

Well that's how they were labelled, but the exact definitions there are a little vague. Then I realized it was kind of a joke (albeit a pointed one) so I edited.

lulz @ Leben at #57

If anybody can list 56 MMA middleweights that could even possibly be ranked above Leben, I'll eat my underwear. In fact, listing 56 middleweights full stop is a struggle for me without resorting to Wiki.

This by far. How the heck's Leben at #57? I guess Leben was fed to the sharks.
