Costa looked decent, would have liked to see him take a few more risks though, i'm not sure i saw him properly let go and go for the finish. McGee looked horrible, and needs to do some serious work. He won't be fighting Kris McCray's and Ryan Jensen's his whole career, and needs to up his game if he wants to be in the ufc long-term. If i were his coaches, i'd advise him to drop to welterweight - Philippou dwarfed him and easily stuffed the takedowns.

Philippou is the real deal, I think he has some of the better hands in the middleweight division. His hands can even rank amongst the top 10-20 in MMA. I wouldn't mind to see him try his hand at Tim Boetsch next.

In the battle of beard vs 'stache, the 'stache proved victorious.

In all seriousness, this fight was a pretty big letdown since I've liked Court since his first fight on TUF. I was really frustrated that he kept going for the takedown instead of just letting his hands go. It seemed to me that he got the better of thoser end of the round exchanges. He just didn't wanna pull the trigger.
