I could see 10-8 in the 3rd but wouldnt give it personally. and with the 4th round option i thought the judges would feel more comfortable giving a 10-10 round but i guess not.
someone did score a 10-10, the revised scores had it 29-29, 28-28 and 28-29 if im not mistaken.

This forum blows my mind sometimes. There's no way McCall won the first round. I just went back, busted out a pen and paper and scored it.

McCall got out struck handedly in the first round and was briefly rocked. The only thing he did better was get 2 take downs to Johnson's 1. You can't possibly give him round 1, the most you could do is call the 1st a draw.

I had Mouse winning the first 10-9 and McCall winning the second 10-9. The third I gave to McCall, maybe even 10-8.

Overall 29-27 McCall.

Round 1 could have been a 10-10. But could easily be scored 29-28 for either fighters. Depending on the judge...

I think the judges or whoever it is need to sit down and come up with a solid criteria of how take downs are scored. My thoughts are: You receive full value if you ground and pound, go for a submission/effectively grapple your opponent(such as gain a more dominate position). If you get swept or cant maintain control for lets say 10 seconds after a take down, you only receive a half credit or something along those lines.

I'm just throwing a couple ideas out there but how hard could it be for these people to sit down and come up with scoring outline for this. The more I think about it, the less sense the judging system makes to me.
