I cant see Rich ever having problems with the clinch like he did in that first match. I can see him getting caught with the knee, but only that "one" big knee not repetitive strikes like you saw.

Rich is very good at GnP. If your really good at that you know how to avoid the typical BBJ submissions.

I still say Rich will win, but I dont think it will be easy just because of the mental factor.

Yeah, but not enough that he is going to be able to submit Franklin. Noone has even come near to submitting Franklin and I don't think they will. Only way Silva wins is by TKO/KO/

id give him a shot if he was gonna get a fight or two before the rematch but getting ko'd brutally then come back to face some one dimensional fighter who's the perfect matchup for you then back to the ultimate predator murderous master ko striker silva.

**** that when you get ko'd in 3 minutes your clearly not ready for a rematch until you have time enough to work on the skills needed to have a decent chance at defeating the opponent while having tune up fights at the same time.

if franklin thought silva's mt skills where dominant when they fought just wait till they fight again because not only will have silva trained with chute box and the mt dream team but he will have also made a trip to thai land to study the art with the greatest mt masters in the world.

rich needs time enough to develop world class mt defensive skills because there will be allot of clinching in this fight when rich trys to take silva down and work gnp which he will have to do to win if he's to win.

Franklin hasn't improved his mobility, he's still far too flat footed to think about standing with Silva.

Re-match - Silva 1st round TKO.

my money is still on the spider. I think that franklin's only chance is GnP but i think silva is good enough on the ground that he can hold on to rich until they stand it up, or survive long enough to wait out the round.

BTW, i havent seen many franklin fights (i dont watch much MW in UFC) how are Rich's takedown skills?

I agree that Anderson is far more mobile than Rich on his feet and is quicker both in striking and side to side movement.
Rich can take that away with some good leg kicks and by taking Anderson down and punishing him. Rich needs to wear down Anderson physically, beat on him some and use his superior physical power; otherwise he’ll lose again.

I think Rich can put together a game plan to win but I still give the edge to Anderson unless Rich executes his game plan to perfection.

I think rich has a good change like they said he is very smart fight i think he will be ready this time with a game plan. i don't think he sould stand with him tho take it to the ground would be the best for rich.

It is obvious that Silva's weakness is his takedown defense, and i am not just judging it by his fight with Lutter. I have seen his other fights and his takedown defense is not good. So if Rich can take the fight to the ground then he has a good chance to win by GNP.

Franklin vs Silva 2 will be a much different, much better fight. Franklin vs. Silva, Rd 1, Referee Stoppage, Frankiln wins with GnP.
