The latest MMAWeekly Rankings were released on Tuesday, March 6th. This system ranks the top ten MMA fighters from all across the world in each of the five major weight classes, as voted on by the MMAWeekly staff.
It's a matter of oppinion, I can't imagine that there are that many people on the staff of MMAweekly. You need a fairly large selection of voters to have an honest Top-10. There are clearly some biases on this list.
In any legitemit ranking system the Champs should be #1 and #2(no biases twords PRIDE or the UFC). They may not be the best fighter but they are the Champ. Who is the best is a matter of oppinion. I think Rich Franklin, Dan Henderson, and Anderson Silva should all be higher then Lindland. Others may disagree.
We should have a vote where every member here makes a Top-10 list. That would be a larger selection then the MMAWeekly staff.
