Hendo is 41 years old. He can do what he wants. He should have had an immediate shot coming into the UFC.

What fight makes sense? Bader is the only fee guy that makes any sort of sense. Machida is coming off a brutal loss. He is like 1-3 in his last few. Phil Davis? What makes sense?

I can see why he wouldn't do a Shogun rematch. Why should he come to teh UFC off of beating Fedor and being the SF champ and have to beat a guy twice to get a title shot?

I'd like to see him fight. But he figures if Rashad can do it, so can he. He has at least earned it more than Rashad.
Very well said. If any fighter deserves to wait out a title shot it is Hendo.

Hendo is waiting, Machida is waiting... just match then.
Sick and tired of this Machida being put on hold for so long,
he said he wanted to fight 3/4 times this year, yet ...

McCall, Faber, Aldo, Nate, Nick, Lyoto, TBD, Hunt
Forever hanging in Anderson Silva nuts

A poor performance over Shogun? He competed in one of the best fights in MMA history and put on a hell of a show.

Have a little respect at least.

HAHAHA.

Can we nominate this for the dumbest post of the year?

It deserves it.

How did he screw the UFC? He simply went to another org for more money which is well within his rights. Again he is getting older which means he needs to get as many big paydays he can before he retires.

And what did he have to do in the Shogun fight to impress you? That was two tough warriors who went toe to toe and left everything in the cage. That fight was epic and still gives me goosebumps when I watch it.

The UFC actually screwed Hendo. They promised him a title shot if he were to beat Bisping ad then Dana changed his mind (SHOCK, HORROR!......). So Hendo said fook this and went to SF.

I don't agree here. Rashad sat out a while but then when it took too long he fought Ortiz and Davis... Two people who weren't in title contention but could have still been somewhat of a threat in derailing his shot. Dan has turned down what most would consider easy fights for him and a rematch of a fight he already won. BTW I understand not wanting Shogun 2 but if he risked taking that fight why wouldn't he just knock out Lil Nog real quick? I don't think he deserves a shot right now but I don't really think anyone else does either ATM. But if he waits to long to take a fight someone might. Dan thinking he would get the jump on Rashad is just stupid. Does he not realize this is the most marketable fight at LHW in recent history? So much that the rest of the PPV sucks IMO.

Don't make me laugh please! You call two out of shape fighter warriors? Both gassed out... And gassed out badly, both were unable to finish each other, the fight looked like they had nothing left to give because the pair of them looked like they was about to collapse! It wasnt even fight of the year !

Diaz..Edgar.. Cormier.. Cain.. Mir.. Overeem.. Jon Jones

I think I understand Dan wanting to wait. I can't really think of any other fight that makes sense right now. If Rampage had won i'd say do a rematch between those two. I think Dan would take it this time.
