Rashad has a punchers chance in all honesty. I can't see him getting inside on Jones to secure a takedown. Jones has to much length, reach, and greco roman ability to be troubled by that in my opinion. Rashad sounds like someone who is trying to convince himself that he has what it takes to win but deep down inside has doubt.

Jones round 3 TKO

Rashad hates Jones so much it's going to lead him right into a stupid mistake and Jon will take him out brutally.
...Excellent post. Makes a lot of sense. I think Rashad is in over his head. I see Jones winning pretty easily as well, maybe even by TKO. If it goes to the ground, Jon will smother and dominate Evans. If Jon get's in top position, Rashad is toast. Bones is a complete savage in the top position. Evans couldn't deal with Machida's kicks and range and Jones will be landing shots from a mile away. Rashad's only chance is to drag Jones into deep water hoping he'll gas and he can maybe get in a takedown putting Bones on his back. Honestly, I don't see Evans taking Bones down. It's Mr. Jones with the finish by Rd.3...

Rashad is going to lose. He is letting this get "personal." Granted they have their beef with each other, but you honestly think Jones is really even worried??.. Rashad is the one is worried and he has every right to be. Jones via TKO

Thats a fact.
Look I completely agree with what you said, but this is what I mean. Yes rashad has beat these fighters, but, other then the tito fight, they were all decisions AND in 2 of those fights, he COULD have been finished if "x" fighter didn't make "x" mistake. Like silva backing off or rampage missing the first 3 punches while on top of rashad. And here's the important part, but what about Jones? He out struck shogun and made him tap to strikes, he out struck rampage and choked him out, he wilted against machida but still finished machida. That's what I'm saving. Jones has never been in survival mode and he has more impressive list then anyone in the division while rashad has been. not that that necessarily means rashad can't beat jones, I just can't give myself a reason that's believable as to how he could.

Rashad has a little more than just a punchers chance. Im all over the Jones wagon as much as anyone else but Rashad could very well be the kep to beating Jones if he has a better grappling plan. Do I think he does no. But he is a serious threat to anyone in MMA.
