.
Yeah, I agree about the UFC's policy on discipline for fighters, it's all over the map.

They aren't exactly the same situation, but the problem here isn't the specifics, it's what I said above, the UFC has no coherent policy on fighter discipline.

I understand why Dana doesn't want to do some zero tolerance thing on the fighters media stuff, I think zero tolerance means zero discretion.

But you can still have a consistent policy on fighter discipline without giving up your discretion, the only policy the UFC has on discipline right now is 'Whatever Dana feels like today'.

That is simply not fair to the fighters, they are encouraged to get out in the public eye and twitter away, yet they have no idea what will happen to them if they screw up. That is really really bush league.

Edit -- I should mention I feel that way even for Diaz. I hate Diaz, and I think he's a tard, but one area I have a little sympathy for him is the policy on discipline. He screwed up, and had to know he was, but if he says he doesn't know what the punishment is, or the policy, or how it works, well he is at least partly right about that, they just make up punishments as they go along.

The secret service investigates everytime someone makes a comment that might be interpreted as threatening violence against the President.

12 year old kids in school have been investigated by the secret service for making twitter jokes about Obama.

It doesn't mean anything.

Nothing Volkmann said was deameaning or threatening. It was a really good promotional thing for him and helped put him on the map.

He has no reason to be fired or disciplined for it.

When did Rashad file for a divorce? I never heard a thing about this.

in one of his interviews with karyn bryant it was brought up that he was "newly" single. And if you think of the tuimeline it fits in with the period he decided to take time out to "protect his brand".

The ufc knew that his head wasnt right and they still sh!t on him for declining to take a fight before facing the champ.Yet now that is exactly what they are encouraging condit to do.And some idiot is trying to tell me the ufc dont have a deep dislike for evans?
