Thats how we ALL are. Quirky, emotional, flexable, wonderful human beings. Quite frankly, anyone who thinks they can put another human being in a box based on nothing but forum comments is nuts.

Which is exactly my point about Dana. Out of the 24 hours in each of his days, how much do we see on average? A very selective 5 minutes? 10? A twit now and then? We dont know what hes going through. We dont know *who* he actually is.

The only thing I can conclude about Dana is that he works hard. Very hard. He is also a hardcore sports fan. I have lots of those as friends and most of them sound just like Dana. Thats why I'm inclined to believe he was f*ucking around. Because ive heard cross-atlantic sports based banter one million times before.

Arum is not a hardcore sports fan. Hes a greed old c*unt who couldn't give a shit about his sport as a whole.
I completely failed to comprehend the entire first half of your post.

You're a fan of Dana White because he speaks his mind, doesn't give a shit and is a hardcore MMA fan. That's all well and dandy, but I've seen you condescend others countless times on this forum for getting worked up over Mr Whites comments and actions and try to act like you are above those people because you get Dana White. That's all I'm saying, just an observation I've made on this forum. I don't have you "figured out" or have you in a box, I genuinely have no idea what you're even rambling about there.

I'm a Dana white fan now? Could it be that I simply dont see what the fuss is about? That I was genuinely entertained by his comments? I'm not really a *fan* of anybody friend. My opinions flutter around like the wind and I make no qualms about it. Anybody who pays any attention here knows that.

If I have "condescend others countless times"?... Tough luck. If you or anybody else for that matter tells me they don't condescended people on this very forum, I'll call you a lair.

Of course you're a Dana White fan and you're a fan of various other fighters and people in this sport, as we all are. I don't see why you're even trying to deny this. It's only human to start to like certain fighters/people that entertain you. Just because your emotional state of mind and your opinions change on a daily basis doesn't make you any less of a fan right now.

You could be blasting Dana White in a months time, but that doesn't change the fact that right now, present time, you have an admiration for Dana White and you support him. It's no big deal and I don't see why you're making such a fuss about it, everyone has their favourites, you're no different from the rest of us.

But yes, of course opinions change and circumstances change, that doesn't mean you have the inability to ever support or root for certain things/people.

@JimmyConrad_com @jakesjournal @kick I'm in bro!!!

It will be entertaining, but never underestimate Dana, love him or hate him he backs his stuff up more than any other major league owner/president etc i know.
Wouldn't normally underestimate him but to be honest to have any sort of coordination at football you need to be playing it a few years which I doubt he has. IF he does go through with it, we will have a 40 year old Bambi out there. Very easy for jimmy conrad to do an anderson siva forrest griffen football version

I dont think anybody does... There are not many soccer fans in this country. The sport is not well received here.

They tried to make it a big sport by bringing over Beckham, but that was a major flop because he was on Billboards all over the country in nothing but bikini bottoms advertising some underwear company, and he is married to a spice girl.

All those factors did not add to the reputation of the sport!

I have never, will never, and could never talk in a condescending way on a forum. Get that through your thick British skull, or maybe you are too dense to understand that!

I have a massive inability to root for soccer, water polo and synchronized swimming!

BACK ON TOPIC

I hope Dana does play with those chaps! They will work him over in the sport. He will see there is skill, even if its a skill I couldn't care less about!

I have played in a professional sports league for a few days (I was in the minors for years, and got called up as an emergency back up) and there is one certainty. Elite athletes are miles ahead of recreational, its a different world. Even going from the IHL (which is still professional) to the NHL the talent gap was GIANT!
