All that talk about cutting is nonsense. In that UFC cribs video shot in Brazil the chick asked Anderson how much he weighed right now and he said 220. I guess he should go up to HW as well?

And by that time he will be training his striking with Anderson Silva...So FTW

If we're talking about Jon Jones currently, right now yes I do.

Have you seen his legs? Have you seen Pat Barry's legs? Jones is obviously a more talented fighter but his body is not suited well for Heavyweight at all. A majority of Heavyweights would beat him, not just Barry.

If he fills out and his legs grow with the rest of his body things will probably be different but if he moved up to Heavyweight today he'd be making a very big mistake.

You only need to see Corey Hill vs Dale Hartt to see what would happen between Jon Jones and Pay Barry.

Jon Jones would throw Pat Barry around like a rag doll and give him the biggest beating of his entire life.

The End.

Jon Jones' jab has more range than if Pat Barry ripped off his left leg, stuck it to the end of his right leg, and tried to kick Jones with it.

Barry would get taken down and pounded out before he so much as whiffed his first kick. It's not like Jones hasn't destroyed taller and decent leg kickers (Shogun/Vera) before without much problem. Vera had a leg kick TKO recently too.

I see your point about his skinny legs, but it would take a much rangier leg kicker with much better TDD than Barry to actually threaten with that kind of thing.

Barry has muscular legs, Jon Jones has thin legs.

Therefore Barry would beat Jon Jones in an MMA fight.

Makes sense.

As a competitor, why not move up? You wanna test yourself you move up, especially if you're not just winning but dominating a division.

I don't see why not, I'm glad Jones wants to, if he beats Rashad I don't see whose left other than Hendo. And hopefully by then Silva will move up and fight Jones before retiring, win or lose. But the last thing we need is fights like GSP vs Dan Hardy or Silva vs Leites, once it gets to that level I wish they had both just moved up for bigger challenges.

I've never seen or heard anyone call him a bully or coward for fighting at 205.

I've seen people want to see him at HW in teh future. Basically because it would be awesome and who wouldn't want to see it at some point?

He defiantly is the most physically gifted 205er. But I've never seen people get on him about it.
