Good think theres no lanky guys with super thin legs at HW to fight Barry.....wait Stefan Stuve but he'll never fight Barry because he knows he'll be hospitalized. I mean look at the difference in leg mass! Also one really tall guy broke his leg in a freak accident and that's totally the norm for skinny leg guys getting kicks checked.

And Jon Jones never striked ever when he was 18 and in MMA....he didn't start training striking until his 20s well into his UFC career...he was too pro.
Look, you can get all facety and sarcastic if you want, but the fact remains a decent kickboxer with ridiculous leg mass wouldn't have the hardest of times leg TKO'ing a top heavy fighter with skinny lanky legs. Nobody is saying that it's a dead cert for Barry to beat Jones, but all it would take is a couple of those from Barry and that's it, Jones wouldn't be able to continue. Maybe Jones could catch a leg, maybe he'd catch one and show Barry his dick at the same time, the fact is he'd be leg TKO'd IF Barry caught him, which he is very well capable of doing.

Also, i'm certain that Stuve, despite being a lot taller than Jones, has bigger legs and actually has trained in kickboxing since he was like 16.

Yea and this isn't MT.

This is MMA and a leg kick isn't going to stop Jones from dumping Barry on his head and subbing him rather quick.

Joey Beltran isn't a huge HW. And he sat there flat footed and took whatever Barry had.

So basically Barry will beat Jones because his legs are thin?

Either way, Joey Beltran wasn't even checking anything and took it for 3 rounds. And people want to act like Barry kicks Jones twice, Bones is done.

Not sure what planet you guys live on.

Yeah, i'd bet money on him beating Jones. Of course I could be wrong, but hey, i'd risk it. Ol' chicken legs is ripe for a thai kick to the thigh.

Dunno how Beltran survived all those leg kicks, but he did collapse literally as bell went off. Thing with Beltran is we know he is tough. His body and his mind is tough. Believe me, if Barry had kicked Jones like that around, there wouldn't even be a round 2 let alone 3.

Lol, you do understand Jones would have a foot in reach on him, right? There's no way Barry would get in range and throw leg kicks without getting beat down. Look at Shogun, he knows how to throw vicious leg kicks and Jones countered them perfectly.

Good point, Shogun does throw heavy kicks and Jones did deal with them. But, and I hate to try and seem like i'm trying to discredit the win because I so am not, but Shogun's striking seemed unusually slow in that. Say what you want about Barry, but once he found his range and leg kicked him it's all over mate.

this argument is dumb. no matter the size of your legs, crippling leg kicks will take out any fighter... it takes more than a few and they have to be well placed.

JBJ is very quick though and bulking up his legs will oly make him more likely to take them rather than avoid them like he does now

Jones was going to lose to Shogun, Machida, Rampage, and now he's going to lose by leg kick tko to a fighter that isn't even in his division?

It's asinine considering Barry hasn't taken out a single fighter with leg kicks and loses just about every fight.
